Manufacturing Expansion Project, Medical Devices Client, Galway

This project comprises of a two-storey extension to an existing manufacturing facility including Grade D clean rooms, offices and auditorium. The project also involved the reconfiguration and upgrade of the associated utilities generation yard.

• Total Floor Area – 4,380 m²
• A portion of the manufacturing was handed over in advance to allow inspection by the FDA and to fast-track regulatory approval for the facility
• The manufacturing space was reconfigured to accommodate a lean cellular manufacturing
• Innovative design, with walk-on ceiling provided in cleanroom to improve maintenance access and facilitate easy reconfiguration of HVAC and utilities in response to rapidity changing manufacturing requirements
• Further office fit out in the first floor was also completed
