STEEP Wedge House, Douglas
Steep WEDGE House is a family home (180m2) set into a small sloping site in Douglas, Cork. The site is compromised by existing wayleaves which restrict the area available to a small wedge shaped space. The proposed design maximising the unconventional shaped footprint with a split level form. Living spaces are on both levels to maximise the sun-path and also give generous access to the lower level garden space.
